There are no signs telling us where to go...no guides along the way...the alleys are not marked...neither are the pits into which one falls every now and then...however, we yearn for guidance along the journey...posts at regular distances to tell us where to go, turn, even stop...then the trip is fraught with doubts, ignorance, fear and uncertainty...and often our knowledge fails us, our wisdom does not measure up and our human frailties haunt us...and yet we keep looking and hoping for....
